Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what we do with the personal data you give us through this website, and what rights you have over it. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD).
1. Who is responsible for your data
VIARYO
Email: info@viaryo.com
VIARYO is a project under development based in Spain. Full registration details of the person responsible will be published here before the service opens to the public. Until then, info@viaryo.com reaches the person responsible directly, and every request sent to it is answered.
2. What we collect
Only what you type in, plus a little technical data:
- Your email address, when you submit the sign-up form.
- Optional trip details you choose to give us — where you are going, which passport you travel on and roughly when.
- Your answers to the short questionnaire shown after sign-up, if you complete it. It is voluntary and you can skip it.
- Whether you asked for an interview, if you tick that option.
- Campaign information — which page you arrived on and which link or advert brought you there.
- Technical details of the submission itself — your IP address and which browser you used. Our form provider records these automatically so it can tell a person from a bot. We do not use them for anything else, and they are deleted together with the rest of your data.
- Anonymous visit counts — how many people opened a page and roughly where from. No cookies, no identifiers, nothing that points back to you. See our cookie policy.
We do not ask for, and do not want, your passport number, your identity document, your travel history or any other document data. VIARYO is not operating as a service yet.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Emailing you about travel document requirements and about VIARYO’s launch | Your consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by ticking the box on the form |
| Understanding who is interested, so we can build the right service | Your consent, given with the same tick |
| Arranging a short interview, if you asked for one | Your consent, given by requesting it |
| Counting visits to see whether the site works | Our legitimate interest in knowing whether anyone reads these pages - Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We use cookieless measurement that does not identify you |
Giving us your data is entirely voluntary. If you do not, you simply will not hear from us.
4. How long we keep it
Until you withdraw your consent, or until two years pass with no contact between us — whichever comes first. After that we delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of your withdrawal so we do not email you again by mistake.
5. Who else sees it
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is handled by the service providers we use to run the site:
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify, Inc. | Hosts the website and stores form submissions | United States |
| Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC | Our email inbox (Google Workspace) | EU and United States |
| Plausible Analytics | Counts visits without cookies or identifiers | European Union |
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the safeguards those providers offer — the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, their certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- restrict or object to what we do with it;
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent — this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Write to info@viaryo.com. Every marketing email also has a one-click unsubscribe link. We will reply within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid — www.aepd.es. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
7. Automated decisions
We do not make any decision about you by automated means, and we do not profile you.
8. Security
Access to your data is limited to the person named above. Our providers hold it on infrastructure protected by encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously and keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small.
9. Children
This site is not aimed at people under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your email, we will tell you.
